Daniela Vicherat Mattar is an associate professor of sociology at Leiden University College and part of Migration Lab https://www.migrationlab.org/. In her talk “Intervening the city as a form of research, dissemination and engagement” she will focus on the Welcome to the Living-room (WTL) initiative, examining it from a research and activist point of view and highlighting the importance of doing participatory action research and disseminating academic work in alternative ways. The talk will be held in English.
