Position opening at FFA BUT: Assistant (Akcelerace zelených dovedností na VUT); app. deadline 13 July 2024
The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology (FFA BUT) is offering a part-time academic position (0.2 FTE) for the implementation of key activity 2 of the project Akcelerace zelených dovedností na VUT (Acceleration of Green Skills at BUT), reg. no.: NPO_VUT_MSMT-2143/2024-5. Starting date as agreed.
Job Description
- Responsible for the implementation and innovation of the courses Introduction to Permaculture Design 1 and 2.
- Creation of study materials for both courses.
- Preparation of teaching and study materials.
- Pilot verification of study materials in the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026.
- Supervision of the project’s professional goals.
- Collaboration with the FFA BUT project manager in preparing materials for project monitoring and the final report.
Requirements
- Higher education degree (at least a Master's degree).
- Fluent in spoken English and Czech (the teaching language is Czech).
- Teaching experience in a higher education environment.
- Advanced user-level digital skills.
- Organizational skills, independence, responsibility, ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in English at a communicative level.
