What do I bring to enrolment?
You become a regular student of the FFA after the enrolment. You will need the following:
- A 3.5 x 4.5 cm photograph;
- Identity card (other identity document, passport);
- Officially authenticated copy of your school-leaving certificate – you cannot be enrolled without providing a proof of secondary education in the form of nostrification clause.
In the enrolment, you will sign an affidavit. Please study its contents in advance.
-
Enrolment
The date of enrolment is stated in the electronic application or in the news on the faculty's homepage. The place and time of the enrolment will also be announced to the candidate in the invitation. If you cannot enrol in person, you can be enrolled by an authorised representative.
-
Additional dates
If you cannot attend the enrolment yourself, you can enroll through a legal representative with a power of attorney. Additional dates for enrolling are in September.
After Enrolment
-
BUT Information System
As soon as your enrolment has been processed, your initial password for the BUT information system will be available in your electronic application. Using this password and your personal identification number (foreign nationals will use their birth code which is available in the Completed Data tab), you can activate your account for the BUT information system on the initialisation page of the BUT IS by setting the BUT password. You will get your personal number and BUT login upon activation. You will then use the BUT login (or personal number – the two are interchangeable) for any school agenda.
-
Request for Accomodation
Students are supposed to book their accommodation online by completing the Request for Accommodation. It is extremely important to apply for accommodation well in advance. Furthermore, students with a visa obligation have to attach the confirmation of their accommodation to their visa application – the confirmation will be sent to the student by email and to the embassy via data box after all the visa application materials are submitted. For detailed information about the application (including deadlines), please refer to the ACS pages.

Student Identity Card
Another important step is the student identity card. You can upload your photograph and select whether you wish to obtain your BUT student identity card or ISIC card at a reduced price here. It is strongly recommended to upload the photograph and order the card. If you order your card in time (ideally by the end of July), you will receive it at the beginning of September. Otherwise, you will have no card during the first week of the semester (your colleagues will have to open the doors for you and you will not be able to get lunch in the school canteen). Your student identity card serves as proof of study according to the law (Section 57 (1)(a) of the Act on Higher Education Institutions).
