Vladimír Špaček is an artist in residence within the residency program of the Brno House of the Arts. In his work, Prof. Špaček deals with intermedial approaches to photography and focuses on the themes of light, space, and time in the medium. He lives and works in Germany and Switzerland and had taught in the Kunsthochschule Mainz. In the fall semester of the 2016/17 academic year, he has led the Studio of Artist in Residence at the FFA BUT.
