The collection of paintings and papier-mâché objects depicts objects with sentimental value that function as symbols or monuments. They are objects with exaggerated imagination, clearly understood with questionable aesthetic value, which tire, provoke, but also amuse and inspire. Often they serve as first-rate gifts kept for emotional reasons, and sometimes we irrationally create magical talismans out of them that bring good luck. They are keepsakes that decorate our interiors, gardens, bodies, or are stored away and forgotten. Thus, the paintings and paper objects on display not only reflect these objects, but also foster a positive emotional connection to the past and allow me to share personal memories and feelings that can be universal to some extent.
