Operation of FFA buildings during the summer holidays in the academic year 2023/2024
This Dean's Decision governs the operation of the FFA and the operating hours of the faculty buildings during July and August in the academic year 2023/2024:
- This Decision allows the FFA students to access the studio spaces in which they study from 1 July to 31 August 2024 (inclusive) for study purposes, work on artistic projects, or completion of final works.
- Stays in shared departmental workspaces and workshops are only permitted with written consent from the head of the relevant department or workshop.
- FFA students are allowed to stay on the premises on working days from 8:00 to 20:30. The dean and/or the faculty bursar may grant exceptions. Free stays in faculty buildings are exclusively allowed for members of the FFA academic community and participants of summer schools and public courses.
- A list of FFA students and summer school participants entitled to enter is stored and updated at the FFA gatehouse (Údolní 244/53, Brno). Entry to the faculty is only possible through the main entrance of building U2, where the gate service will log the arrival and departure of every visitor.
- FFA graduates can rent studio spaces at discounted prices. Positive processing of a rental application requires the written consent of the studio teacher. Applications for rent, signing of contracts, and payment of rent will be handled according to the current holiday schedule of the finance department (contact: Ivana Chvátalová, tel. 54114 6805, email: eo@favu.vut.cz). Appointments for processing rental applications can be made via the email above.
- The FFA International Office will be closed from 1 July to 5 August 2024 (inclusive). From 7 August to 31 August 2024, office hours are set for every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00. In urgent cases, the FFA International Office can be contacted via email to arrange a personal meeting outside the specified timeframe.
