The collective monograph focuses on researching themes related to the phenomenon of visual culture, public space, housing construction, and the sustainability of housing in the city of Brno during the socialist period. It delves into questions regarding the contemporary assessment methods of fine art in urban spaces, including applied art, as well as the functioning of the unofficial art scene. Special attention is given to the issue of urban recreation.
