The book Speculative Drawing: 2011–2014 by German philosopher Armen Avanessian and artist Andreas Töpfer stands as one of the most significant contemporary explorations at the intersection of philosophical and artistic realms. It not only presents drawing as an illustration of text but also as a means to convey and mediate contemporary perspectives on the world. The Czech edition is enhanced with an updated introduction by Armen Avanessian and an author's afterword in the form of a scholarly study by the book's translators, Katarína Hládeková and Václav Janoščík. In this afterword, the authors offer an analysis of the book itself and contextualize its place within the field.
