Nikola Chromečková & David Hotárek from the Product Design Studio awarded the Czech Design Award
In the Mánes Exhibition Hall, the awards for the 11th edition of the Czech Design Award were presented, traditionally marking the conclusion of the Czech Design Week festival. This year's twelve-member jury, composed of experienced designers, design theorists, educators, and representatives of cultural media, voted throughout this year's festival. As a result of their voting, the Special Jury Recognition was awarded to the studio besiidka, which was founded earlier this year from the long-term collaboration between designers Nikola Chromečková and David Hotárek, students of the Product Design Studio at FFA. This year, the studio presented a collection of utilitarian objects in the Mánes Exhibition Hall, designed to enhance festive moments, with an emphasis on blending modern technologies with traditional craftsmanship.Author | Mgr.
