Original Abstract

Možnosti, které se užité grafice otevřely na televizních obrazovkách, zaujaly Jana Rajlicha (1920 — 2016) koncem padesátých let. Přestože celkový počet dochovaných návrhů pro televizi sestává z necelých dvou desítek prací, můžeme je považovat za důležitou etapu na cestě od malby a užité grafiky ke komplexnímu pojetí vizuální komunikace, kterou se Rajlich začal intenzivně zabývat na začátku sedmdesátých let.

English abstract

Towards the end of the fifties Jan Rajlich (1920 — 2016) was attracted by the possibilitiesopening up to applied graphics in television. Although the total of surviving designs for television consists of less than two dozen work we can consider them an important stage on the way from painting and applied graphics to the complexapproach to visual communication which Rajlich took up at the beginning of the seventies.
