Course detail
Artists and Issues
FaVU-AIS-ZAcad. year: 2016/2017
We will explore the issues of artistic identity in the course. In the first part of the seminars, students will always present a paper on a chosen artist, in the second half, we will have a discussion on the assigned tests dealing with the position of artists in a given society. In the winter semester, students will cover artists active during 1950s - 1980. The texts dealing with artistic identity and roles, however, will cover a much wider time span.
