Studio I - Body Design - winter

The task for all students of 1st - 3rd year is defined and updated during the semester. In the second half of the semester, students can work on theiir individual projects or continue in the assignment towards the final semestral project.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

To be able to find and trace movable bordering points of one´s own sensibility. Discovering the space of personal cave. To be able to work inside and outside. Communication in both directions.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite is defined by artistic and theoretic abilities shown at entrance exams.

Aims

Introduction to studies. Possibilities of communication with the teacher and the group. Possibilities of forms and attitudes towards solutions of relevant or personal themes during common studio consultations. Searching and finding connections in contemporary and historical artistic contexts. Cultivation of points of view. Personal penetrating the problem, experimenting with forms. Communication with oneself. Way - losing one´s way, wandering, orienting - what is the destination? Processual perception of the world. Exposition, measure, position. Form and contect of presentation. Ability to bear criticism.
