Sculpture Technologies - winter

FaVU-ST2-ZAcad. year: 2021/2022

Classical materials, clay, plaster and basics of sculptural technologies - construction. Basics of welding, the classic method using coated electrodes and also MIG / MAG welding. Work on woodworking machines and with a chainsaw - work safety. Introduction to 3D technologies such as 3D printing, optical digitization (3D scanner scanning) and introduction to CNC and robotic machining. Examples of implementations with their use.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Basic orientation and overview in classical sculptural technologies. Practical mastery of individual sculptural methods. An overview about new 3D technologies.

Mastering the work with classic materials.
