Studio IV - Game Media - summer

This course presents students with the issues of financing, producing and completing a long-term project. In the context of the studio, it is primarily about the final publication of the work in digital or physical space. The course compares existing tools and practices at the academic, independent or professional level. Integral to the topic is the online distribution of digital games, platforms, publishers, media, social networks, community environments and the individual. At the individual level, students are primarily concerned with the completion and presentation of their bachelor's project.

Knowledge of digital game and film relationships, adjacent industry, key technology parallels and tools.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The bachelor's thesis is required to present and archive the diploma thesis. Then defend the diploma thesis before the commission.
Presentation and submission of semestral studio works and exercises. Consultation, participation in teaching and studios is obligatory.

Aims

To introduce students to production, distribution and funding types. To learn the basic tools of internet marketing.
Students are able to complete and publish a long-term writing project. They master working in the current Internet environment. They learn about the possibilities of project funding, subsequent presentation and distribution. They reflect on the experience gained during the realization of their bachelor's project.
