Orientation FaVU

FaVU-1RanPAAcad. year: 2024/2025

The structure of the course is based on gradual familiarization with the school building and all its departments, including the conditions of their operation. Another theme of the course is to inform students about the structure of the study – for example, about assessment methods and criteria, about the application process, about scholarships and student grant competitions, or about intra-faculty and national internships or stays abroad. A separate section covers the basics of academic writing, methodology, working with sources and citation standards. Participation in a sexual violence prevention workshop and a session with the school ombudsman are also important. In the second half of the semester, the course focuses on the basics of copyright law, an introduction to the arts, and job prospects for arts graduates.
