The content of the course is to prepare students for a successful presentation of their own work both in an academic environment and in the environment of future professional practice. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the presentation, its proper planning, the use of adequate technologies, tools and resources and the choice of appropriate installation procedures. As part of the subject, students' communication skills are trained and situations are simulated that prepare students for the defense and argumentation of their own work.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
For the purpose of the presentation of the semester work and the debate before the committee, the teachers of the Public Presentation of Semester Thesis can recommend a work or a selection of works to the students either at their own discretion or based on a previous assignment by the teachers. Students receive an oral evaluation in the form of a brief comment, which all members of the committee are required to submit. The subject of this evaluation are:
1. the quality of the semester thesis
2. method of its installation
3. the way of its presentation
4. accompanying text and image materials
The colloquium is formally evaluated on a pass/fail scale.
Teaching takes place in the FaVU studios in consultation hours determined by the course teachers. The awarding of an assessment from the course Public presentation is conditional on the submission (installation) of the semester work and its presentation to the committee.
Aims
The aim of the Semester Project Presentation 5 course is to enable students to train the skills and knowledge needed to successfully present their own projects created during the semester as part of the subject Atelier 5. Students will be guided to learn how to present their work in front of different types of audiences and to cope with the challenges that this may bring. The goal is to use adequate visual elements (photo documentation, infographics, videos, etc.) and installation procedures to support the presentation of your work.
By completing the Public Presentation course, students will improve their oral and written skills by presentation of their own work created during the semester as part of the Atelier course, as well as conceptual and technological solutions for the installation of their work. They will use the received feedback to reflect their work.

- Introduction to public presentation – definition of public presentation and its meaning in the context of the academic environment and in the environment of professional practice.
- Presentation planning – how to prepare and time the presentation, what will be the main content and structure of the presentation.
- Communication skills – how to effectively communicate with the audience, how to adapt to different situations that may arise.
- Presentation technologies and tools – what technologies and tools can be used to present the work, how to effectively use visual elements such as photo documentation, infographics, videos, etc. to support the presentation.
- Installation – what installation procedures to choose in the case of physical outputs of the semester work.
- Preparing and testing a presentation – how to prepare and train a presentation, what techniques can be used to improve it and how to manage technical and organizational aspects.
- Feedback – how to receive and use feedback from the committee and audience and how to use it to improve your work.
