Learning outcomes of the Visiting Artist's Studio extend standard curriculum of studio-based teaching at FaVU. Since the course does not have a permanent teacher, its main feature is a continuous content variability. Every guest teacher - artist or designer - brings uninque set of experiences and methods of creative work into the environment of FaVU, as well as original teaching methods.

Final exam consists in presenting the output of an individual or collective assigment(s) in front of a committee composed of faculty teachers and invited experts in the field.

Aims
The aim of the course is to convey - in the form of intensive semester cooperation - the oeuvre, experiences and way of thinking of a respected personality established in the international context of contemporary art, respectively design.
Students will experiment with and learn new methods of work. Consultations of the assignment, course and results of the work in English will strengthen their readiness to move in the future in the context of international art / design field (taking part in residencies, cooperation and communication with foreign artists, curators and other cultural producers).
