Traditional Media Workshop 1

FaVU-2WTM1Acad. year: 2024/2025

The workshop will provide students with the opportunity to become familiar with a detailed selection of techniques and materials from a wide range of traditional media (painting, printmaking, sculpture) through a glimpse into the practice of a prominent specialist in the field, to engage in activities prepared by them and to discuss the challenges associated with the technology in the context of professional practice in the contemporary art scene. The aim of the intensive meeting with a personality who is proficient in the technology of their medium at the top level and actively participates in shaping the discourse of contemporary art is to broaden the awareness of technological and material possibilities, which the students can then apply in their own creative practice.
