FaVU-3RDPRAcad. year: 2024/2025

The course is intended for the preparation of a written document on the dissertation topic in accordance with the internal regulations of the university and faculty, as well as the Study and Examination Regulations of BUT. The so-called Dissertation Topic Paper is submitted electronically in PDF format and should be a maximum of 20 standard pages in English. The paper primarily includes a critical assessment of the current state of knowledge in the dissertation topic area, a definition of the anticipated dissertation objectives, a description of the selected research methods, and a summary of the student’s results to date. The paper also contains concise information about the planned practical output—artistic work (including its concept and form), exhibition, curatorial project, or other activities that will constitute the practical outcome of the doctoral studies.
