We encourage our students and employees to return from abroad
On March 13, 2020, on the basis of the issued Decision No. 1/2020, it was recommended to students and employees, who are currently abroad, to return from their stays abroad to the Czech Republic. In the case of Erasmus+ mobility, the Centre for International Cooperation (CIC) is ready to solve the situation with reimbursement of costs incurred due to the return to the Czech Republic. Universities will receive instructions from CIC on how to proceed in practice as soon as possible. It is recommended that students and staff keep the documents related to travel expenses or other extraordinary costs related to mobility. This recommendation does not only concern mobility within the Erasmus+ program, but also all trips abroad.
New foreign trips of students, academic and non-academic staff and other employees in education, financed from the programmes administered by CIC, will no longer be started. Students and academic staff returning from the risk areas are required to observe quarantine. The list of risk areas is available here. We recommend that all students and staff follow the websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health and the main BUT website for coronavirus.
