Call for Erasmus+ study stays in the academic year 2025/26, deadline 31 Jan 2025
We are announcing an application procedure for study stays in the academic year 2025/26 under the Erasmus+ programme.
Basic conditions for Erasmus+ study stays
- mobility is possible from September 2025 until the end of the summer semester of the academic year 2025/26 (i.e. summer and winter semester)
- the duration of the study stay must last at least 90 days and must be completed by 30 September 2026 (at the latest)
- the student must be enrolled in studies at FaVU and have student status for the entire duration of the study stay
- financial support for Erasmus+ study stays ranges from EUR 540 to EUR 660 per month, depending on the EU country (eligibility is only for the period of physical presence in the host country)
- you can study at dozens of FaVU partner universities. The list can be found at: https://www.favu.vut.cz/studenti/staze/partnerske-instituce
- detailed information about the Erasmus+ study stays can be found on the BUT website.
Doctoral students (PhD) can also apply for short-term study stays (min 5, max 30 days). Financial support 79 EUR/day (up to 14th day of activity) and 56 EUR/day (from 15th day of activity) + travel grant eligibility.
Outside the EU countries (Erasmus+ International Mobility) you can study at the following two FFA partner universities: the University of Dundee, the University of Southampton
For this type of mobility, the same documents, conditions and application procedure apply as for the "classic" Erasmus (the only significant difference - in StudIs you apply for international mobility!). For more information on E+ international mobility, please visit the BUT website.
How to apply
Via the e-application form in your StudIs account → module "Study and internships abroad" until 31 January 2025 → apply for the relevant call for applications according to your planned mobility:
- study stay in EU countries - "Applications for Erasmus+ study stays in the academic year 2025/26 in the EU"
- study stay outside the EU countries - "Applications for Erasmus+ study stays in the academic year 2025/26 outside the EU"
- short-term study stay (PhD students) in EU countries - "Applications for Erasmus+ short-term study stays (PhD) in the academic year 2025/26 in the EU"
The e-application has the following mandatory attachments
- a completed and signed application form (see below)
- a completed and signed Consent to the processing of personal data - GDPR (see below)
- a cover letter in English, briefly explaining the importance of your planned mobility - what you plan to study. The cover letter should therefore contain a preliminary list of courses you want to take at the foreign university (at least for the university you are most interested in, the so-called 1st priority). If you cannot find the courses on the website of your chosen university, search for and describe at least the field and department you are most interested in, or the FFA International Office can help you find them. It is therefore necessary to first get acquainted with the universities' offer, choose your "top three" and study the information available on their website (for "incoming students"). Only on the basis of this information write a cover letter.
