Open Call for applications for a 3-month residency at the Leipzig Spinnerei (LIA) (Feb–April), deadline 14 Jan 2024

We are opening an open call for FFA students for a (maximum) three-month residency stay at the Leipzig Art Centre Spinnerei (LIA – Leipzig International Art Programme). The call is open to bachelor's (only 3rd and 4th year), master's and doctoral students.

Residency period: February to April 2024
Application deadline: January 14, 2024

The selected student will have a studio with accommodation available. The internship is particularly suitable for 2D work (painting, drawing, photo, video, text). The selected student will have the opportunity to present their work within the Spinnerei Open program. A financial contribution for the stay is 750 EUR per month. Submit your application via email to the FFA International Office. Along with the application, it is necessary to send a CV, a short motivational letter written in English, a brief description of your activity (project proposal) for the residency, and your portfolio (in PDF format).
