Position opening at FFA BUT: Assistant at the Department of Audiovisual Technology; app. deadline 14 July 2023
The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology is offering an academic position on a part-time basis (0.2–0.5 FTE according to an individual agreement on the amount of teaching and further involvement in department activities) for an Assistant at the Department of Audiovisual Technology, starting on September 1, 2023.
Job Description
- Teaching courses in the field of photography in bachelor's and master's study programs accredited at FFA BUT.
- Participation in the activities of the Department of Audiovisual Technology, particularly maintenance and planning of educational facilities.
- Participation in the creative activity of the faculty.
- Participation in internal and state exams.
Requirements
- Active artistic activity in the medium of photography.
- Master degree in the field of art.
- Fluent in spoken and written Czech and English.
- Teaching skills/experience.
- Moral integrity.
The application must include
- Structured CV (with an overview of previous teaching, and creative activities) with up-to-date contact details (name, address, phone number).
- Scan of diploma(s) or other document confirming that an applicant received a higher-education degree.
- Drafts of 2 syllabi for semester courses focused on the area of practical photography.
