Position opening at FFA BUT: Assistant at the Environment Studio; app. deadline 7 June 2023

The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology is offering an academic position on a full-time basis (1.0 FTE) for an Assistant at the Environment Studio, starting on September 1, 2023.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the second teacher of the Environment Studio to lead the studio and ensure its smooth running.
  • Provide constructive feedback on the work of students, including supervising and evaluating bachelor's and master's theses.
  • Monitor the development of artistic education and integrate innovative techniques into teaching practice.
  • Participate in the artistic-research activities of the faculty.

Requirements

  • Higher-education degree (Master's degree).
  • Fluent in spoken Czech and English.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Teaching skills in the field of art.
