Option to specify your preferred name and/or pronouns in internal faculty communication
Dear Students,
We would like to inform you about a new option to provide your preferred name and/or pronouns, which will be used in the faculty’s internal communications.
How does it work? You fill out a simple Google Form to submit your preferred name and/or pronouns.* The information from the form will be transferred twice per semester into the BUT Information System, where it can be utilized by the teaching staff of faculty courses. All official documents (e.g., the title page of your final thesis, diplomas) must, according to the applicable regulations of the Czech Republic, contain your legal first name and surname as recorded in the civil registry or official documents. The use of a preferred name or pronoun is intended only for internal communication within the faculty.
