Call for Erasmus+ traineeships in the summer semester of the academic year 2024/25, deadline 31 Jan 2025

We are announcing an application procedure for traineeships within the Erasmus+ programme.
Traineeships can take place both within and outside the EU* during the summer semester of the academic year 2024/25, from 1 February to 30 September 2025.
Graduate traineeships can take place within 12 months of graduation (completion of your studies) and only within the EU. You must apply while still in active study.

Basic conditions for traineeships

  • mobility is possible from 1 February 2025 to 30 September 2025, during the summer semester 2024/25
  • the duration of the traineeship must last at least 60 days (5 days is sufficient for PhD students)**, with a maximum of 90 days, and must be completed by 30 September 2025
  • the student must be enrolled in studies at FaVU and have student status for the entire duration of the traineeship
  • financial support for Erasmus+ traineeships ranges from EUR 690 to EUR 810 per month depending on the EU country (eligibility for the grant is only for the period of physical presence in the host country; the work placement must be full-time = the number of working hours must be as a standard full-time job in the foreign country)

Any public or private organisation active in the labour market or in the field of education, training and youth work, non-profit organisation, public entity at local, regional or national level, etc., i.e. almost any entity or company, can take on students.

*For Erasmus+ International Mobility (to countries outside the EU), the same documents, conditions and application procedure apply as for "classic" Erasmus (the only significant difference - in StudIs you are applying for mobility outside the EU!). **This call for applications also applies to short-term PhD traineeships (5 to 30 days). The administrative procedure is the same as for a standard traineeship.

  • mobility is possible after the completion of the studies in the summer semester 2024/25
  • the duration of the graduate traineeship must last at least 60 days, maximum 90 days, and must be completed within 12 months of successful completion of studies (graduation)
  • you must apply while you are still studying, go on mobility only after you have completed your studies
  • financial support for Erasmus+ graduate traineeships ranges from EUR 690 to EUR 810 per month depending on the EU country (eligibility for the grant is only for the period of physical presence in the host country; the work placement must be full-time = the number of working hours must be as a standard full-time job in the foreign country)

How to apply

Via the e-application form in your StudIs account → module "Study and internships abroad" until 31 January 2025 → apply for the relevant call for applications according to your planned mobility:

  • traineeship in the EU - "Application procedure for Erasmus+ traineeships in the summer semester 2024/25 in the EU"
  • traineeship outside the EU - "Application procedure for Erasmus+ traineeships in the summer semester 2024/25 outside the EU"
  • short-term PhD traineeship in the EU- "Application procedure for Erasmus+ short-term doctoral mobility (traineeship) in the summer semester 2024/25 (PhD) in the EU"
  • short-term PhD traineeship outside the EU - "Application procedure for Erasmus+ short-term doctoral mobility (traineeship) in the summer semester 2024/25 (PhD) outside the EU"
  • graduate traineeship - "Application procedure for Erasmus+ graduate traineeships in the summer semester 2024/25 in the EU"

The e-application has the following mandatory attachments

  1. a completed and signed application form (see below)
  2. a completed and signed Consent to the processing of personal data - GDPR (see below)
  3. a completed and signed Traineeship Agreement, Acceptance Letter OR documented communication (e.g. email) with the institution, organisation, company, indicating that the student will be allowed to participate in the traineeship (at least one of these documents must be attached)
  4. a cover letter in English explaining why we should support your planned mobility - how it relates to your field of study, what you plan to do on your mobility, what results you want to achieve, etc.
Without the mandatory attachments uploaded by the deadline, the e-application is invalid!
