Information on the postponement of the usual date for the Studio Practice exams (i.e. public presentation of the final semester project) in the winter semester of the academic year 2024/2025
Dear students,
Due to the planned reconstruction of the faculty campus at Údolní 53, we will be relocating the faculty to other premises between the winter and summer semesters for approximately two years. Part of the faculty will remain housed in other buildings on the Údolní 53 campus, and part will move to the nearby BUT campus at Kraví hora.
Given this situation, the faculty management has decided to adjust the timeline for this academic year so that the Studio Practice exams (i.e. public presentation of the final semester project) will take place in the week before the Christmas holidays (18–20 Dec 2024), while the faculty’s facilities will still be fully operational (workshops and specialised tech department units begin relocating in Jan 2025). You will receive continuous updates on the details of the move. Current information about studio spatial facilities during the relocation is available from studio tutors, who are in contact with the Vice-Dean for Infrastructure.
