  • Area of responsibility: performs organisational and administrative tasks related to the performance of the functions of the Dean, Vice-Deans, Faculty Bursar, and other FFA academic bodies; ensures the implementation of the decisions of the Dean and possibly other FFA academic bodies; facilitates communication between the faculty governance and the employees and university administration departments; keeps track of tasks, monitors their completion, and informs the faculty governance and designated employees about them; prepares and convenes leadership and faculty body meetings and takes minutes from them; organises visits to the faculty leadership; receives, passes on, and stores internal legislation; records and coordinates requests for the use of the dean’s office meeting room (conference room), ICOM cards and the use of a company car for the needs of the faculty governance; receives, records and passes on faculty correspondence; handles the agenda of the registry service; administers the agenda associated with habilitation and appointment procedures and job auditions; collaborates on ensuring the personnel agenda and the business travel agenda of FFA employees.

  • In accordance with the Dean’s Directive on Social Safety, the faculty ombudsperson is also organisationally assigned under the Secretariat. The mission of the faculty ombudsperson is to contribute to creating and ensuring a safe and fair study and work environment and to support its diversity. The ombudsperson is an independent individual who creates space for dialogue and provides confidential assistance to students and staff of the faculty, particularly on issues related to ethics, workplace culture, and the prevention of power abuse. The Secretariat bears the costs of the ombudsperson's activities and provides administrative support; the ombudsperson is entitled to reasonably use the capacity of other secretariat staff for administrative tasks, or the Dean (after consulting the ombudsperson) may appoint a designated staff member to serve as the ombudsperson's assistant, carrying out necessary administrative duties. The role of the ombudsperson's assistant has been assigned to Marie Štindlová.
