Advanced Motion Design
FaVU-1MODPAcad. year: 2024/2025
The course is divided into six blocks of three hours. In each block, advanced methods and techniques for working in After Effects, Premiere, and Cinema 4D software are discussed in detail. An individual approach to solving specific problems in motion design and digital video is preferred.

Knowledge of working with vector and raster graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Credit awarded based on attendance or discussion of a project in motion design and image post-production.
Classes take place in the classroom of the FFA BUT in the hours determined by the schedule. Attendance is optional; individual consultations with the teacher aimed at the implementation of the project may be an alternative.

The aim of the course is to help students master advanced methods of working with motion graphics and video images.

- Dynamics of movement. Animation techniques using the Graph Editor. Managing complex movements / animation. Coding expressions for motion design.
- Morphing. Methods of deforming motion graphics. Transitions.
- Kinetic typography. Animated logo. Visual effects.
- Cut-Out Puppet in a three-dimensional scene. Plugin for inverse kinematics. Creating phases of movement. 2D puppet on moving background / 3D space.
- 3D motion graphics. 3D models in a movie clip. After Effects and Cinema 4D mutual co-operation.
- Creating an animatic. Image sequence and timing. Project organization. Design and implementation of the composition: combination of 2D and 3D animation.
