As part of the study requirements in the doctoral program, students must complete a portion of their studies at a foreign institution, participate in an international creative project with results published or presented abroad, or engage in another form of direct involvement in international collaboration. A minimum one-month internship at a foreign institution between the third and sixth semesters of study is undertaken by the doctoral student based on a request, which is reviewed by the supervisor. The total duration of internships at foreign institutions during the standard period of study must not exceed one year. Any exceptions to this rule must be approved by the doctoral studies board.
