Development of Pedagogical Competences
FaVU-3PEDKAcad. year: 2024/2025
The course Development of Pedagogical Competencies (School of Imagination) supports interdisciplinarity at the level of thinking about creative and pedagogical competencies. It explores an approach to creative pedagogical work that, through grounding in sensory activities, facilitates communication on challenging or controversial contemporary topics across differing viewpoints, thereby fostering systemic and critical thinking. As participants in the course, students can experience how to build a safe space within groups and how not to shy away from complex topics that naturally arise in collective settings. The design of the School of Imagination workshop cycle offers a continuous process of creative learning within closed groups. This pedagogical format allows for the ongoing acquisition and deepening of creative-pedagogical competencies that are necessary and beneficial in the participants’ own work as instructors and creative educators. The workshops are led by external educators MgA. Barbora Kleinhamplová and Mgr. Tereza Čajková in collaboration with Futuropolis/NaZemi.
